Virtual conferences have been of great value, and many of us have enjoyed the comfort of easy access. Advantage Support Services’ speakers were recently privileged to share live presentations at a state AORN. The energy in the room was extremely high and palpable between the attendees. All were able to participate during the presentations, providing solutions for Operating Room and Sterile Processing issues.
We are all getting reacclimated to see each other, especially in large crowds. Some may be hesitant, while others are incredibly excited to go, go, go. Now that it is 2022, many conferences are in person again. If you have made the very personal choice to attend, we want to invite you to Bioseal’s booth #827 at the upcoming Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) conference.
Bioseal is an advocate and supports the Sterile Processing industry, state chapters, and the national meeting at HSPA. Bioseal will be providing in-booth education sessions to provide additional education to supplement the exceptional solutions that will be provided at HSPA.
Some of the topics scheduled for the conference include how to organize a department, updates on Association Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) and best practices, hands-on labs, and one on one interactions with vendors during the expo. Some of the valuable lectures are from robotics to tray optimization, quality and safety, and dental instruments.
Bioseal is providing additional education during the Expo/Vendor Show in their booth and will offer insights and solutions for Operating Room decision-makers. These presentations will include solutions for decreasing turnover time and instrument loss and how process changes in the OR have a domino effect on Sterile Processing. They will also address how linen costs can be reduced and how solutions in the OR directly impact SP by increasing or decreasing their productivity.
